I have been playing this course for over 35 years and it's currently in the best shape it's ever been in. The management is improving it every year, as their budget allows. 2 years ago they finished paving the cart trails, last year they rebuilt 3 greens, and this year they rebuilt 3 tee boxes. If you haven't played here in a few years you will be surprised at the shape it's in now.

A great value. Good course for average golfers. Seems easy at first sight but difficulties are subtle and you won't score as well as you think you should!

My favorite place to play. Twilight rate is cheap for Player's Club members. Player's Club is $30 annually and includes bucket of balls and/or free round if purchased at the Golf Expo in February. Easy to walk.

The ambiance gets an eagle only because a Bald Eagle has a nest on the course. Quite a site to see. Otherwise there is not much ambiance.

Holes on greens rarely changed. Many dead areas. Greens hard to hold and extremely slick...nearly impossible to 2 putt. Do whatever to stay out of the rough. Tree problems exist for under average golfers leading to high scores. Long drivers can score..short drivers struggle. Bare rough penalizes even good golfers.

I play at Applewood regularly; I am in the men's club. The Touchstone Golf staff make sure that your experience at Applewood is positive. Touchstone Golf has made continual improvements at the course and it is in much better condition than when managed by American Golf. Anyone who has not played at Applewood in the last two years will be pleasantly surprised at the condition of the golf course and clubhouse. The Vista @ Applewood is a great venue for parties, brunches and special occasions.
